Help Support WMAC!

MISSION
WMAC is a group that aims to support fellow AmeriCorps members, AmeriCorps Alumni, and the community by creating greater collaboration among organizations and project sites.

VISION
The West Michigan AmeriCorps Collaborative will help individual AmeriCorps participants by developing a supportive community of service members and AmeriCorps site supervisors. WMAC is meant to be an enhancement of the AmeriCorps service year by providing networking opportunities, grounds for safe dialogue, and resource sharing. This organization will enable members to be a part of the greater West Michigan area by providing volunteer service projects and special community events. Members will take part in honoring National Days of Service together throughout the calendar year.
PURPOSE
  1. To support members during their service year by providing: resources, opportunities for civic engagement, professional development, and networking.
  2. To connect and provide resources for sites that are affiliated with AmeriCorps members and programs.
  3. To stimulate interest in a lifetime of community engagement and civic responsibility.
  4. To encourage collaboration between current members, AmeriCorps Alum, and community partners throughout West Michigan.
  5. To develop and provide engaging National Days of Service that connects members with each other and the community at large.
